I have a feeling that the in-game time counting used to calculate the save file time might be inaccurate as well.
Is that because the engine merely sets a marker of when it activated the DMOD and updates it at each save?
IIRC, it does relate to time_of_day() and not an arbitrary counter, which could race or stutter depending on the length of the parsing queue.
