I've been following the walkthru pretty strictly so the last thing I did before going into the castle was blew up a bomb to open up the doorway. Then I got the money from the chest and killed a bunch of things as I made my way through the castle and then up the stairs to the tehehe. When monkeynuts didn't appear no matter what I did, I just decided to go on and walk out the back of the castle because the walkthru said that there'd be a man out there for me to talk to. However, there was no man, and that's as far as I've gone.
