I remember running into so many issues with AGAE. It's a fun game no doubt, but there are just so many bugs and hardness issues. I think I wound up reaching the final boss after wandering the map for like half an hour even though I hadn't done any of the story progression. I died pretty quick. After that I started saving as often as I could, but I still ran into a whole bunch of issues.
