You're absolutely right, Punisher. Doom totally wasn't responsible for popularizing the FPS. When you mention a "shooter" to the average person who doesn't know much about them, what comes to mind? That's right, Wolfenstein 3D.
Also, mentioning God in a silly tagline proves that someone is obsessively worshipful, and this is something worthy of confronting someone about and double-posting if they don't answer you in seven minutes.
How did you even get so smart, Pun? I bow to your mighty intellect. The real reason nobody is fielding a large number of guesses as to what your favorite FPS is isn't that it's a waste of their time and they don't like you anyway, it's that we all know that your great wisdom is utterly ineffable.
Quake is my favorite FPS, but if you disagree then of course I must be wrong.
