Well, how would be set to your time zone? Unless it was just a bit of code that lifted the clock off the computer and figured from there... But that could cause problems for thouse who either don't set their time zone, or got their computer clock changed to get around product limitations... anyway...
I thought you, cough, redink, cough could just put a squidget of code that would just count down to an apointed future date... It would be generic, as the chat would be four hours away, in every time zone, so the time zone part wouldn't matter, unless someone wanted an exact date&time for the chat. In that case, I would just give them a calculator.
