If you don't have an account, just leave the password field blank.
I like this forum. Meaning the design of the site, not necessarily all the people 
As for the website itself, with things being fixed that need to be I don't see a huge need for a major update... it would be a great shame if the DN started looking like any other generic forum with a download section. It has personality
What we need (after Skull's option 1, which ain't gonna happen
) is for Redink to come back for a little while, do an overhaul of whatever needs fixing, hand over power to someone(s) who's likely to stay around for a while (Striker/Sabre?) and then vanish again for good if he likes. As has been mentioned before, the main problem here is that there's no one really in control and even the nobles can't ban people, for example.
Oh and as a little side point, keep ghost posting! It's one of those things that makes this place different... how many times have I wanted to ask a question at some random helpful forum and given up because I have to do the whole rigmarole of creating an account with them just for one question...
