If you don't have an account, just leave the password field blank.
I'm not sure why that could be. All I can think of is that you might have the framerate limiter on... When you launch DinkHD, go into the options menu and check whether FPS Lock is turned on. If it is, turning it off could speed it up again. It it's already off, then... I have no clue
