Hello everyone! I am a C++ programmer and I have a project in mind that I need some input on:
It started with a topic I posted on a cross platform editor I wanted to make. It was brought up that we didn't need more editors, we needed a new Dink for a new generation.
Here are my thoughts:
If there were to be a new Dink, it would have to be completely redone and modernised. That means 3D graphics, smarter and more articulate entities, and a hole new scripting language (like a "DinkC++").
So here's what I said:
I would post this thread, and if I got at least 60% positive feedback, at least 3 other C++ programmers willing to join, and at least 2 good graphic artists willing to join. I would begin the project.
So, give me your thoughts and/or tell me you want to join.
If you want a new Dink, act now!
