No problem, Dink doesn't need to be the main character, read metatarasals guide, in the last chapter there's some things about an alternative hero.
An introduction to dmod making really is awesome, I learnt a lot reading it. I did 'the bomb' while reading it and started 'three amulets' after. It's easy to follow and you learn fast.
