Explanation for jokes tree:
After dabbling in the dark arts, Seinfeld accidentally created an offspring of himself, only being quite a newb, the offspring was a tree.
'Bah, I shall not have a tree as my offspring, I must cast it out!'

Casting one more spell, he sent the tree to a remote location somewhere in the world, and it happened to end up in Windemere. A tree or not, it was Seinfeld's offspring, and it has inherited his ability to spawn jokes that aren't the least bit funny, but still make him popular. I dub this tree, The Seinfeld Tree.

Explanation for Golden Apple Tree:
The 'Talking Tree of the East' is obviously a lame inside joke to 'The Wicked Witch of the West'. Being a witch, the Wicked Witch of the West (or WWOW for short) enchanted an apple tree for her own personal amusement. Since she was a witch, so she obviously had a wart on her nose. This wart was bigger than usual, and made her voice very nasally. She was teaching the tree to say random hints to a sick game she was planning with unsuspecting travelers one dark day...

"You must knock, then cluck, then put a sack in it."

The tree repeated:

"There's a rock by the ducks with a crack in it."

Having a nasally voice, the witch was hardly understandable. There entire conversation went on like this. She decided she would make another tree after she got rid of this wart, and she teleported the tree off to a random region of the world. It, too, spawned in Windemere.

That's my terrible excuse for an explanation
