what is BETA TESTING?????????????????????????????

If you create a D-Mod, you can let people beta-test your D-Mod to catch bugs, glitches and spelling errors, so you can release your D-Mod with the least amount of faults possible.

BUT WHAT IS IT????????????????????????????????????????????????????

In DMOD development when a DMOD developer first finishes a DMOD it is the alpha version. This is a fully functional DMOD that is not necessarily stable. (Meaning it could still be riddled with bugs.)

Then this developer tries to fix every bug he can find so that he has a DMOD which he hopes to be bug-free. This is a beta version.

But because there is only one person making a DMOD it might still have bugs that this person didn't notice. So the DMOD is then released to a select group of players who try to find as much bugs as possible. These players are the beta testers.

After they report back to the DMOD developer he fixes the problems the testers noticed and releases the final version for the general public.
