DN mailing list?
I've had a few PMs over the past couple of months that I couldn't respond to just because I never had any indication that they were there (I do apologize to everyone that this concerns; I'm not one to ignore people that need help and such.) Perhaps it's because I never log on unless I make a rare post? Whatever the cause I've not seen some PMs until a month or so later just because I rarely log on and even more rarely. Of course this could be solved by my logging on more often and checking my PM tab, but it got me thinking...
Will DN ever have some sort of subscribed mailing list? For say, telling you that you have a new PM, telling you when a screenshot or review has been added to your file, telling you when your file makes it up to the site, and perhaps telling you any new news posted? It would be really convenient for myself and I think some others, but then again maybe not enough to be bothered with. It's just a thought.

You could put something in your profile like: 'Please contact by e-mail, not by Private Messages'. I'd imagine having a lively discussion with three or four members over the Private message forum can put a load on your mailbox, so I wouldn't use it...
