I've gotten to the point in Cycle of Evil where the boy who became a Bonca goes to attack the Farmer. Only problem is, me/Bonca always dies and then it prompts to reload a game. So I guess the plot requires me/Bonca to kill the Farmer. Any tips on how?

Hit once, run. Hit once run. You'll get better. Instead of moving back though, take a 90 degree turn from the farmer right after you hit him.
