How can you fight against any monsters without any weapons?? How do I find/get one??

Pretty much, except for what little you can do in Stonebrook. You need the gold you get from slaying the bonca to cross the bridge.

ok,I've crossed the bridge,been to my aunt's place/my new home,found several goodies under the pine trees after I burned them,when does the REAL challenge start?? where do I go next??
