ffcreate?
When I shall zip the graphics to make them smaller, shall I use "ffcreate"?
If yes, please describe how I do

windinkedit has something built in to do .ff for you or you could just leave them how they are. this is better i think because other dinkers want to know if your new graphics are nice so they can "borrow" them
ffcreate doesn't make graphics smaller, it just puts all of the graphics in one big honking squaking file.
In the olden times when D-Mods were using the .zip extension, these .ff files would compress better than .bmp files.
But, in the days of .dmod files, which uses a more efficient compression algorithm, there isn't much of an advantage for .ff files anymore.

How shall I do to make my d-mod smaller then? It's over 30 mb now
Don't worry about the uncompressed file size. If your .dmod file is 30 MB, chances are you have a lot of unused files in the D-Mod directory.
And it will shed a lot of size when compressed. My DMOD, The Scourger was 25 MB uncompressed, and in .dmod format it was only 1.19 MB. (And that was without unused files.)
Ok, how do I compress the D-Mod then? (I'm sorry for being so nooby all the time)
In DFArc 2, click on the Edit menu and select Options. Make sure Show Developer Buttons is checked, and click OK.
Then, select your D-Mod and click on the 'Package' button. Follow the steps, and now your D-Mod should be in the .dmod format.
