Losing data
I've seen that some dinkers had problems with losing D-Mod data. Don't you make backups on other computers? If not it's very usefull to do so I wouldn't want to think about losing all my work.
Hey, what makes you think everyone's got a dozen computers
But yeah, backups on a cd might've been a nice idea back then. It just feels so tedious to do that.

We've got 4 computers - of which one is Windows 95, another one cannot identify a CD, third is my sister's, and the last one is this...

I didn't say it had to be your computer.
And I'm quite used to having more computers, I have 5 of em! From pentium I to IV and even an older one.

Dinkers backing up files are like ladies feeling up Tal. They just don't do it.
I make a backup every two weeks, though, with backup, I mean copying it to my second hard drive. So if my computer burns down to cinders, I'm still screwed. I do, however, put all my stuff on my girlfriend's computer occasionally, which is a whopping 10 meters away from mine. So, if our house burns downs to cinders, I'm still screwed. Yah.
I never make backups either but I did burn the Dink Smallwood
bmp files, the main game scripts and some of Sabre's 'basic'
scripts onto a disk.(just to make space on my comp)

I know I should, but I'm too lazy
I've just thrown away many of my older computers though, still got the good ol' Win3.1 at least

I backup my own Dmods, the rest I can download from here anyway.
Also, I have two computers here. That helps, all my projects are on both computers, and sometimes on the memorystick I use to transfer the data from PC1 to PC2. (Yeah, no networking... )
