I talked to people in the village about honourable things, and have 16 honour (not enough for the whirlpool).

The castles don't want to become active to give me the honourable quests, the one sais I should "keep on passing", the other sais he's out hunting.

What do I have to do to be able to enter those castles?

I believe the honour only has to be higher than 12.

Have you gone back to the One Tree on its island and asked if you are honourable enough?
