The Dink Network

Well, I've been stuck in here for a looong looong time. I can't seem to figure out the riddles in (I think) floor 6, the floor with the mad monster-inventing scientist!

I mean, he says something like that the first riddle machine was something with Bovine, but I'll be danged if I know what THAT is.

And because I don't want to get stuck in any FURTHER riddle machines, could someone tell me the answers and/or a link to a walkthrough or Hint Sheet?

1.) I've been stuck there too. The answer to this riddle is COW. It's somewhere explained on this board, i don't now where. Search for COW, you'll find an explanation, too.
2.) Somewhere in the dinkiverse exists an complete walktrough for this dmod. There are older messages on this boards with a broken link to dinkworld.com. The Dink solutions are no longer supported since Dec 2004, so there is no walktrough available to this dmod, too. As the ancients told me (i read it on the board) some famous dinkers have copies of this walktrough on there machines.

A solution would be to look in the source, and see a big number. Convert it in base 26, then replace 1->A, 2->B, etc. You can write a small program to do that. I used this trick to slove the riddles.

You know, for a dmod this big I am really surprised that there is only one walkthrough and that one's lost.

You don't have to download the source. The story dir contains .c files. Just open the DMOD in WinDinkEdit, right click on the gate, Properties, and near the script box, click edit. You should see the script, and inside, that big number I was telling you about.

Could you just give all riddles solutions? I can't speak English well so i can't understand that riddles
