Need help getting to Goodheart castle

I killed the 2 dragons at that dragon place and bought the throwing axe, I went to goodheart and the wooden gate/drawbridge thing is closed!! i killed the gaurds and that dident open it.... plz help!

You got a throwing axe??? I am stuck with a sword and cannot get to the castle or over the bridge or anything more!
