Resident Evil 4
Have you all played Resident Evil 4 yet? It kicks ass (Amoebalord squeals with joy as cultist head explodes in burst of blood)
I wonder... could one play as a pacificst in Resident Evil? Like, trying to kill as few undead things as possible? It would be interesting to see...
That game does look awesome, but I haven't played it.
i got bored of resident evil like 10 years ago there dude
Resident Evil 4 is different, though. No more forced-perspectives, no more zombies, no more raccoon city, everything is different. The only real link to the other games is that you play Leon from Resident Evil 2 and Ada Wong shows up from time-to-time.
The game is pretty awesome. I beat it once, and now I'm saving up for the super weapons.

ada wong? i think ill pass. i like my wong where its at. and simonk can fill in the rest.
Uhh... guys? Are any one of you aware that Resident evil 4 is becoming a bigger threat than Morrowind?

Morrowind is more of a 'competitor' to Dink. Anyway, I don't think many people took the 'threat' seriously. I certainly didn't.
Well its dragging dinkers away from their DMods and stuff.
They may get carried off by the newest and flashiest games, but true dinkers... well, the only way for some of us to leave would require therapy.
Still its Resident Evil...what there's four of them plus two split off series...etc.
However 4 does look unique. Nevertheless Dinkers stay Dinker's forever. Some leave temporarily then come back. Some are here every day multiple times with nothing else to do.
Like zombies they can only be gotten rid of by severe means like decapitation or a totally destroyed corpse.
I made a connection,
The Vault Dweller

**BUMP**
I eventually got aorund to playing the game, and having just completed it, can say it officially rocks. One of the best games ever. Easily.
I hated the other Resident Evil games (not that I gave them much time, granted) but this one is revolutionary.
And what is more satisfying than shooting a cultist in the kneecap, before suplexing him and splattering his brain matter all over the floor? Not much...
This game is full of those "moments" which make games so great. And it's the first game I've actually finished in months. Yay!
EDIT: Geez, look how disjointed my post post. Even worse than normal... I've been playing that game too much recently.

/me punches you.
Sometime after this thread died down, I played the game as well, and I played through it constantly until I got the super weapons. I love playing as Krauser on the minigame. It's the next best thing to playing as Rambo.
I'm not a fan of Krauser (though the knife fight with him in game is amazing), and prefer Wesker.
He's cool.

I'll stick with Leon. The shotgun is all I need. (Chainsaw maniacs are scary, though.)
