The Dink Network

I have down loaded The Quest for Cheese and used dink front end to load the game. Every time I try to play, I get the message Game dir quest not found. Does anyone have a suggestion?

Is there any spaces in the name of the folder you extracted The Quest for Cheese into? If so, try renaming it to just 'cheese' instead of something like 'quest for cheese'.

try shortening the game name or removing the version number. Maybe

As it is an older game, is the main game, hidden in a duplicate file?

uh, no.

merlin. my sweet I hope that uh,no was not for me. Many a dmod I have downloaded, and when I try to play it it just goes to the opening screen. So upon checking the dmod, it turns out the dmod was in the same file. For example:
|Dmod|open it up-->|Dmod with all the files|.
So you take the dmod with all the files out and delete the first file folder which held everything.
