The Dink Network

I made the mod "Bloop the Fish" when I was 12. I was incredibly excited at the possibilities of Dmods. I was active on the Dink message board, would email with Redink1 (who was a really cool guy), and was learning how to use D++, including reading the Dummy's C++ book. Unfortunately my parents needed constant dramatic power trips, and blew up my Dink life in spectacular fashion. I never got back to it because it made me too angry to try. Same with coding, I tried many times and just could not get past how pissed I was at the missed opportunities. It's very hard now as an adult to find this site, and it seems people kept the "Bloop" name alive, I just feel like it's an awesome thing I would have stayed part of. But it's pretty neat at the same time to see that the community is still around.

The board's become notably inactive lately, but somehow people still keep talking on the Discord server.

Bloop is a legendary dmod on this site.
I'm the person who made the 2014 remake of bloop, which in turn inspired the bloop-game contest. I always loved bloop because it showed how you can make a completely different game using dink... and it's just funny.

While looking for something else I managed to find the old Zoltron page as well as a message on an Australian site pertaining to it.

I made Bloop 2. Does everyone already know that?
