Found a weird things with DinkHD 1.8.5.

Click inside the Dink window, and Dink attacks. That's kinda weird, but the bad thing is the next time a choice statement comes up, the first option will be selected automatically. It's like the mouse click is 'flagged' until the choice statement appears.

Hmm, was not able to reproduce, although something was slightly wacky, sometimes my mouse G9 button (this mouse has a lot of buttons) would cause a punch, but choice statements were not affected. Could be something changed in the latest version though.
