Questions
I've been planning to start working on HH3 at some point during this year. Of course, we'll have to see how that goes in the end, but I've also had some other D-Mods in plans before I'll start working on that. So I ask you Dinkers, which one of these three, would you like to see released the most?
1) Dark Phoenix's Middle Night. The final part to the Middle Night -series, which was supposed to be released back in 2011. I've kinda abandoned it, but if you guys would like to see it finished, I guess I could try to put it together during this spring.
2) An arcade -style fighting game where you play as Dink, and get to choose different opponents to fight and arenas with lots of fun, destroyable stuff. Would include team fighting and also an all-brawl with everyone of the opponents at the same time.
3) A D-Mod which I've titled "Loch Ness". Not much to say about it so I won't spoil anything, but it would be a somewhat typical short Quest.
I'd honestly like to see all these finished, but we run into an old pal known as time. If the Dink community lasts, I'll probably create all of these at some point, but before I start work on HH3, I want to have a little gap between that and a smaller D-Mod. I'll also probably jump into some other projects during HH3, because creating it is something that will probably take the next few years, and working on that one project alone would be an exhausting brain killer.

I kinda like number 1 most There's something awesome about being able to finish a trilogy. Hopefully it will go back to more atmospheric, creepy content like the first one
Dark Phoenix's Middle Night. Don't worry about tying up all the loose ends, it's not like the story made sense the first two times around. ;P However, those dmods DID have a certain charm to them... And we certainly don't have too many horror/mystery stories here.
Well, I haven't got around to playing the Middle Night series yet, but I think I agree with Kyle and Scratcher. It would be a good excuse to get me to play them, and since it was planned as a final part, it should feel nice to you to finally have finished the series.
I don't mean to discourage you, but I actually don't feel there has to be a Historical Hero 3, simply because HH2 was a great adventure and felt like it could easily be the end. More than likely you will find yourself, like Sabretrout, desperately trying to make everything bigger and better when such is very hard to do. (Personally, I think Sabre should just lower his standards a bit instead of giving up on CC3 altogether at such a developed stage; even if it is only close to as good as the second one, I think it would be very well received, but alas, oh well...).
If you keep these things in mind and have mentally prepared for the challenge, and you still want to make a Historical Hero 3, I wish you the best of luck and I'll be looking forward to it. I just don't want you to feel like it is an obligation to us, especially when the ending of HH2 was already very good and would be a very satisfactory end to the series. Do it if you want to and if you think you can make it what you want it to be.

I didn't play the middle night series before, so I just did. Thanks for the tip, even though you didn't give it.
I liked both of them. A third part would be cool. There are some questions which I'm interested to hear the answer to.
I'm not so much into arcade style fighting, so 2 doesn't sound too exciting to me, although it could be nice if done right.
3 sounds mysterious, which I like. But with so little detail, I can't say if I prefer it over 1. I probably don't; Middle Night has a typical atmosphere which makes it special and I like that. It is rare, so a DMod of which I don't know a lot probably doesn't have it. But you should know best.

Just in case you are considering to use my editor for any of this (probably only for things you haven't started yet, or at least haven't written lots of scripts for), I would like to offer that I'll add features you need on request.

Middle night is something I would spend all night playing
Personally, I think Sabre should just lower his standards a bit instead of giving up on CC3 altogether at such a developed stage;
I agree
I agree
I agree with the others, the first choice-Dark Phoenix's Middle Night- seems more attractive to me than others, I m looking forward to see it.
Hopefully it will go back to more atmospheric, creepy content like the first one
I hope it will be more scary than it.

Iplaydink, your call to the lord comes at a strange time... I think we might be missing context?
