Why is everyone here so obsessed with posting some or the other random link to Youtube?

The video they post, usually makes no sense, whatsoever.

That's not Youtube's fault. People here just like weird videos. Youtube is pretty much the biggest site for posting videos, so it gets linked to a lot.

Did he ever say it was YouTube's fault?

Not explicitly, but the way he worded his subject and post made it sound like he thought Youtube was made of a bunch of weird videos.

I think his post said that *we* post links to weird videos in there. Not that YouTube was made of weird videos.

Yes, I can see that interpretation. Well, he'll have to clarify it for us. If that's what he meant, I would have expected his question to be, "Why is everyone here so obsessed with weird videos?" But is it really a big deal?

It's not a big deal. Except for that you're American, I'm Finnish, and I seemed to understand his message better. No matter how I look at his post, I can't see it as him blaming YouTube.

Anyway, yes, the obsession with nonsensical videos is interesting. Have you heard of Youtube Poops? Now those are weird. I like surreal things, but YTPs are just annoying. I don't know what people like about them.

Well, Youtube was made for people to post anything from Fan animations, to oddly humorous things, funny comedians, and just plain ducked up stuff. Youtube has it all.

Now that's just crazy! But really I meant videos like these. Here's an article about it.

Let us save our effort and just lie down and die.
The reality of it is that it is hard for people who are used other cultures to comprehend western humour. It's not a bad thing - it's just the same as I don't find most Japanese humour very funny - perhaps if I had a better command of the culture, history and language.... But you will find that every nation has it's "inside jokes". Western society the most internally diverse language, culture and history of all existing cultures, rivalled only by Asian culture. This means our humour has extra layers which can be hard to understand initially.
Even a lot of the Goyim in 21st century Western society find much Western humour hard to understand. Shakespeare is the classic example. Without knowing the historical background of Cole Porter's "Anything Goes", the goyim would find the old style of singing to be it's most amusing feature.

Perhaps, Marpro; but surely you realise it's all historically based!
