In that case, you'll need to learn how to ask questions in a way that comes across as serious rather than trollish.

For one thing, your question assumes something negative about the person you're asking. And the negative thing isn't a specific, limited set of issues. It's just a broad, sweeping wrongness. The question, "What's wrong with you?" usually gives the impression that the person asking doesn't think there is a good answer. Like they're thinking, "What's wrong with you is that you're totally messed up."

I think that's what makes people sound like trolls most of all. It's when they don't give people the benefit of the doubt or have the opinion that people are a mix of good and bad traits. "You're messed up" is an insulting thing to assume, and nobody wants to be asked a question like that. So they'll assume you're trying to be abusive or you aren't smart enough to ask a specific and nuanced question.

Second, your post had no content other than the question, so I'm not even sure what you're thinking of. You gave some accusations in the steroids thread, so that's something to go on. But you need to give some evidence for them.

So list some specific things you think are wrong about Americans, and tell us what led you to believe them. Be specific.

You could say, "I've seen some Americans do X and Y. That makes me think they have problem Z. Do you think that's true, and why would they do that?"

American people are just like every other people around the globe, some good some not so good *thats life* Predator.

Still, people in one society do tend to share traits that make them different from people in other societies, and those traits can be interesting to explore and try to explain.

6-th example you ignoring the bullpulp design- more and more nation are adading the bullpup design but you dumb americans still choose the same old m-4 m16 rifle the bullpup allows the rifles to be as small and compact as a SMG but just as powerful and accurute as a fully legth rifle.

Of those I would say only 3 & 5 are of serious concern for the rest of the world. The rest is debatable or even just their business, nothing you should concern yourself with. I'm sure wherever you live also has a list of at least 6 bullet points to go through.

I fail to see how any of those points relate to a single American citizen. If you want to bash the way my government functions, or what some TV producers will do to get ratings, then great. Many Americans disapprove of all those things too. But to criticize Americans as a whole for those things? Shows some real ignorance on your end.

It is well known on this site that I'm from England. I just live in South Korea. I changed the flag because I'm pretentious as.

I'm not ashamed really, I just find it saddening that you have such a blinkered view of the USA. I'm not a fan of their administration and have found most Americans I've met to be more than a tad irritating, but I'm certainly not foolish enough make blanket statements about the country.
