Stuck in bar

After retrieving the Gland from that Stone Giant guy.. thing.
I get teleported back to the bar, give the tender the gland, and when I leave, the game freezes and I have to Ctrl+Alt+Delete my way out.
It happens every time.

I don't know what would cause this particular problem, but the scripts in this game are a ducking mess. You might want to cheat, just to be able to get through it.
