Well, this is an idea I've been toying with for a while.
The basic idea is that the Pillbugs are at war with the Boncas over who is the most popular enemy in the game (the reason they're at war is subject to change).
It's obvious who's side I'm on (pillboncs), but that's beside the point.

I need some ideas on how to execute this though. The game will start by giving you the story via a (hopefully) cool cutscene. You then pick your side and class. Side is pretty straightforward, boncas or pillbugs, but the classes will be either mage or warrior. The boncas' classes are fairly simple: bonca that specializes in tail, and bonca that specializes in magic. The pillbugs' classes are more complicated, due to the fact that the pillbugs are touch damage enemies. How should I make the pillbugs fight? Ranged attacks? What would the Warrior attack be for the pillbug? Should I even have classes? Those are all the things I'm contemplating, and input would be much appreciated.

This is an obsolete crappy idea that is easily mistaken for the usual garbage found on this site. The idea of Boncas VS Pillbugs is bland and mediocre. I have never heard of such idiocy as this. Why is it that this website hasn't gotten any good files in a while?

I thought about that, it just doesn't work for the D-Mod's story. Thank's for the idea though absolution.

OT: Would be cool to have the warrior-pillbug to be a touch enemy and/or attack enemy, but get skills like a speed-boost, charge or a stun. Or have it attack really close range.

Oh, yes! and the pillbugs could have little Aussie flags on their backs, and the boncas could have huuuuge tusks and saddled riders!

If a pillbug had to touch something to deal damage, that would be crap, because you would have to take damage too. Just make lasers on the pillbugs like in The Quest for Not Quite as Lame.

I was actually planning on having the mage class for the pillbug do something very similar. And I agree with Absolution; if the only way the warrior pillbug could attack would be touch, that would kind of suck. I like the idea of abilities though, like speed boost and stun and such.

Surely there are ways for a pillbug to be a warrior. Just be creative.
