Since yesterday, the music for Cast Awakening Part 1: Initiation has stopped playing for some reason. No music starts at all upon start up, playing, etc. I don't know why it's like this. I figured that it was just Initiation that was glitched, but I went back to the original Dink Smallwood game and the music is glitched there too...

The only things I remember doing related to the music of the games are pressing Alt+M while playing Initiation (pressing Alt+M worked fine in original Dink; music did come back), and opening the midi files with Windows Media Player. I doubt that these two things are the problem, but are they? Anyone have anything in mind that may be a solution to this?

Yeah I made sure that was checked on. The sounds work fine. It's just the music that's not playing at all.

Play a MIDI file and if you can hear it, try to play the game after that and see if it works then.

I just went to try that... The midi works by itself, but no music is still playing in the game.

I object
Does any other DMOD play MIDIs?

Try looking up the sound levels in windows. The 'SW synth' setting should not be 0.

Every time you play a midi in WMP that volume will be set to 0.
It's kinda annoying.

That's really weird. Other apps also use SW Synth for their MIDI (except WMP for some weird reason, I guess you checked your MIDI using that?)

Edit: curse me for missing the very last reply!

Ah, ok. That's good to know. I was wondering why that happens.
