Fiat: Can't open tower door in first island

Help, I can't open the tower door to go to the next island. I have the key, but the door won't open. Can anyone please help???
It looks like you're trying to open the door to the Tower by pressing the Control (attack) key; try hitting Space (talk) instead, near the gold brick on the Tower. If that doesn't work, please let me know and I'll try to find what the problem is.
