The story of Ronan the duck and Billy the bonca continues in this D-mod. They still have to defeat Xanatos.

Storyline: Even better then in part II. The story sort of continues where the Revenge of the Ducks II ended. This time they meet Dink, who is also after Xanatos.

Map and graphics: No new graphics, although the icon for the spritebomb spell is adjusted. The mapping is done quite nice.

Music: It suits the situation.

Good: There is humour in it, especially in the beginning, when Ronan and Billy meet Dink and Martridge. This game features harder enemies and loads of screenlocks. That makes the game harder, but it makes it also more adventurous. The way the end boss is defeated is quite funny, although you do not have to do very much for it.

Not so good: I encountered several screenlocks that would not unlock so I had to load saved games a couple of times. Since the pillbugs are really hard and you die easily by just touching them, you could not use Billy’s tail as a weapon. Instead you had to use the fireball spell. On some screens however there was very little space and since Billy says something every time you cast fireball, it takes some time before you can move again so you have to be very careful when to cast the spell; otherwise you might get stuck in between attacking pillbugs. No savebots, although you could save everywhere by using escape, but there was no remark made about that.

Overall: A nice sequel, featuring Dink.

Fit for: If you played part I and II, you definitely must play this D-mod too. And if you have not played those, this is a fun adventure on its own as well.

Third installment to the ROTD -series

Story: Ronan and Billy are still going to defeat Lord Xanatos (or Xanotos). They meet Dink Smallwood, and start to argue who should do the quest. They finally make an agreement and pland to attack Xan(a o)tos together.

Very original plot. Almost like in some movies.
8.9.

Map: Map goes with other D-Mods.
7.0.

Graphics: The graphics are same old expect for the "Duck sitting on Bonca" -graphic that was introducted in part 2.
8.0.

Music: Same as in every D-Mod. I think it fits in this D-Mod.
7.0.

Gameplay: This D-Mod is pretty short. Enemies are little too easy. You don't need much brainpower. The cut-scenes were cool. Only thing I didn't enjoy was, that you didn't fight Xan(a o)tos at all.

The humour was good aswell.
8.5.

Good: Story and map

Bad: You can't fight Xan(a o)tos in the end, and the enemies were little too easy.

Overall: 8.5. I highly remoccend this Romp. It has great story and humour, and can pass your time quickly, even though, it is Romp.

Fit for: Anyone looking for short and humorous D-Mod, with great story.

The finale of the most intresting, funniest, and probaly the best trilogy out there. In this D-mod Ronan and Billy confronts Dink Smallwood and apparently they both have the same quest: to defeat Xanthos. Ronan and Billy however were very sucessful. This d-mod was revolutionary at the time, an alternative hero. Another interesting aspect is that we now view Dink through the eyes of another main character which was very appealing and different which made me want to play this even more. Just for all this i think this D-mod is a little underrated due to it was quite revolutionary at the time. 9.0 straight up.

This D-Mod isn't as good as the second but still good for duck lovers. Storyline is good, map is pretty good, graphics are ok (but STILL nothing new), music is ok, and the plot is really good. YAY, we meet Dink Smallwood.

Storyline 5.0
Map 5.0
Graphics 0.0
Music 5.0
Plot 10.0

I said this isnt as good as the second because the storyline isn't as strong and the map isn't as good and a little boring. This end of trilogy is still recommended for duck lovers everywhere.

It's a nice dmod. There are some funny elements in this hilarious trilogy.
A few bugs somehow disturb the play a little bit. Screenlock is almost everywhere, and if you accidentially go back to where you have been, you need to fight again. Becasue duck would say something after bonca attacks (and vice verse), it makes harder to perform attack-and-retreat trick per your will. Overall, it makes the game a little too hard.

Introduction of Dink to this trilogy finale is a nice idea, but you don't really need to anything to beat Xanatos. That's a little disappointing.

Overall, this is one of the best dmods without featuring (in the main role) Dink.
