Now then, a little green lightsaber... Star Wars, is definately the first thing that comes to my head with this file. And that's the first thing that this file has been made for, it's been made to make you think Star Wars and... oh nevermind...

There are several sounds included in this cute little DinkSaber (Star Wars) package. By sounds I'm saying .wav files if you didn't get that the first time. The sound files are simple, yet very effective for a little green lightsaber that Dink uses. You wouldn't want to hear a deadly Jedi lightsaber go 'chunk!' would you? No, so that's the prescise reason why some little .wav's have been included, all so nice...

Now then, if you're thinking... "Does this include all the graphics I need for a DinkSaber?" Well the answer to that is, yes it does. All the graphics you'd need for a GREEN lightsaber are included so you don't have to go and make your own. But how much effort was put into getting/making the graphics for the lightsaber? Not much, basically Dan has simply taken Dink walking with a sword, idle with a sword, and attacking with a sword in all directions, and has put green shades over the sword to make it look like a lightsaber, I can tell this because it still has the original sword handles visible. However, this can all easily be changed by getting rid of those handles in MSPAINT.

On whole though, what can I say? The lightsaber is a great thing to mess around with and is great for hinting those D-MOD ideas. Go on, download it, play about and have a laugh!

No, no that's not right.
I personally think this Idea was funny at First, Until I tried it out, I realized that its Quite Cool.
It would have been better if The Saber came with Different Dink Costume/s Like a jedi Robe.
Nevermind though, I rate it....

A lightsaber for Dink, made with paintbrush, the dinksaber uses but two colours and doesn't look very good. Some new sounds from star wars are included, but not all that you would except.

This add-on is of interest for those Star Wars fans out there, and for any Sci-Fi DMOD.

It is a green light sabre, with no glow... but honestly glow in 256 graphic mode is nigh on impossible.

There are two swords included which are good: an arming sound and a swish sound. The hit sound is missing and the included script defaults to the standard sword hit sound. This is a shame.

There are instructions as to how to install this add-on which is great and negates the need for this add-on to come in the format of a DMOD. Add-ons are not DMODs, and if the reviewing can't be bothered installing the add-on as instructed, well, that just reflects on the laziness of the reviewer, not the author.

As for the holding drop command, well that is used in the original Sword items scripts and if you want to know why, read Ted Shutes revised DinkC.txt. Sheesh, must every file have every little detail explained?!!

Overall 8.5 out 10, well done

This file lets you add a new weapon to your D-mod.

The weapon is used in the D-mod Stardink.
It is sort of the lightsaber used in the Star Wars films. It has not the moving, glowing, electrifying glance that the lightsabers from the film have, but it looks a lot like it. It is basically the sword Dink uses, but then made green. But because it has the sound of the original lightsaber it gives the impression of one.
It would do nicely in any science fiction D-mod.

It is a very good idea to have a "Dink sabre"
in some of the "StarDink" Dmods but else it is quite useless.
(If i put the dink sabre in the begining of a Stone age Dmod it would be a bit strange)
Known Bug(s):
If making a Dmod whit this make sure that you Don't put in now other swords or the sword sound will follow.
It is well made whit sound and yes mostly anything but it dose not "fit" in most Dmods
