Pillbug's Song Service
Well, I have been using Audacity, a free full-version audio recording program, to record audio off of Youtube or other sites. I have recorded a total of 85 songs, and I am now taking my recording to other people. Either post in this thread or e-mail me what song you would like me to get for you and I will start the recording pocess ASAP. I will attach the file in WAV format and e-mail it to me. If you do not have your e-mail posted on this site, please e-mail it to me. Oh, and if you haven't already guessed, this is free. I'm not stupid enough to charge for a free program.
Well, that's about it. I hope that I get a lot of... customers, or whatever. You can do this yourself, with Audacity, but it would save time having me do it. If you would like to know more, e-mail me or post in this thread. Thanks!

We've got a rule about warez here, and I think you might be crossing the line.
Ohhhhhhhhhhh. I wasn't sure if it was actually OK, thanks for telling me.
Download Firefox, then download the Video DownloadHelper.
Generally, if you're not sure whether something is OK to post or not, you should contact a staff member before posting said material.
I will in the future, but I didn't see anything about it in the rules page?
It's actually a good idea in general not to post warez on any forum. I honestly don't know how this would be defined, but if Tal hasn't deleted it *shrug*
As far as I know, ripping audio from a Youtube video doesn't deprive them of any income, other than potential cents earned from clicking an ad. Whatever. Unless someone can grace me with a compelling argument, I'm just gonna let it be.
By downloading any videos from youtube you are violating their terms of use:
"You agree not to access User Submissions or YouTube Content through any technology or means other than the video playback pages of the Website itself, the YouTube Embeddable Player, or other explicitly authorized means YouTube may designate."

Doesn't YouTube usually have crappy low-bitrate mono sound?
Besides all of the above concerns, it almost seems like a ploy to get people's email addresses. Beware of phishing and pharming scams.
...oh well.
You'd be irritating them, not me. I won't condone it, but if you do it, you now know what you're getting into!

Heh, any audio (ie, songs) on Youtube is probably violating their terms of use anyway:
"In connection with User Submissions, you further agree that you will not submit material that is copyrighted, protected by trade secret or otherwise subject to third party proprietary rights, including privacy and publicity rights, unless you are the owner of such rights or have permission from their rightful owner to post the material and to grant YouTube all of the license rights granted herein."
Hmm. Does that mean that this is not actually allowed on Youtube?

Of course, the site doesn't seem to have a care in the world about copyright laws until the actual holders of said copyrights begin to hound them.
Example A: Comedy Central videos constantly being yanked.
Example B: YT itself using the Rickroll as an April Fool's prank.
