You're being WAY unclear. You not being able to play network or internet games would basically mean that you don't have an internet or network connection, which is obviously not the case, because you're talking right now. Be more clear!
The problem he had before was that his parents were restricting the sites he could visit, if I remember correctly. So, if they blocked a nifty game site, there's not much we can fix 
yes DD95, lynx is a deoderant. but long ago when the computers were still crapp there was a text only web browser called lynx. i never used it nor seen it but i know it woulda sucked. no pictures. no fancy colours. no flash games...

I can't begin to imagine how awful it would be to have only the actual CONTENT of a web page to look at.

I attempted to try browser lynx once but just getting it to work seemed like too much trouble so I shift-deleted it instead. I'm not a ducking linux user, I don't want to read a dozen help files before I can get something to work! (

) That browser still exists, and it's very useful if you don't want to be distracted by pictures or irritating flash animations. In fact, I'm using it right now

I prefer Links over Lynx. But I'm sure Lynx is dandy as well. In any case, if a web site does not look good in text-only browser, it's not a good web site. That very fact is a simple test for how good a website is.
I recall one day I couldn't play a particular net game, while I could surf the web.
