Flaming can get people somewhere, actually. As long as you keep some sense in what you're saying, it can help people see eachother's points of view, and sometimes it makes n00bs realize they should grow up.

That's an oxymoron. There is no sensible flaming. It's like saying "smart idiot", heh. And flaming, per def., only infuriates the ones they're addressed at. May humor outsiders, but to those included, the intention of a flame is to hurt and/or ridicule.
