I want one. I've played a few fun games on other peoples' DS'es and now I'm considering buying one.

Skull: If you're going to say something like that at least give a logical reason why you think it sucks

The only thing I find to dislike about the Nintendo DS is that it can't play older Gameboy games. Since I'm a fan of older games, that prevents me from getting one.

Daniel, there are clowns.
I think what Goku is trying to tell people is that he wants to discuss the new Pokemon games for the DS

I'm afraid DS doesn't stand for Dink Smallwood and unless Dink ever get's playable on Nintendo DS I'm not even touching one.

I don't believe that. They can both play GBA games, but GBC/GB? Really? Firmware upgrade or something to include GB(C) emulation?

I don't want to buy a smaller version of an already pretty small device, though.

There is a emulator for Game Boy & Game Boy Color called Goomba Color.

drath you are wrong.I have a Lite and there isn't any slot for GB/GBC cartridges.

Erwin just think how will Dink Smallwood have a gameplay?Map in the upper screen and in Touch screen draw a magic symbol or move the rock with the magic.

Actually gb(c) games will fit in the same slot as gba. I still dont think it can read them though. Of course there are emulators, but the general use of a gameboy was intended to be on the go or someplace with no computer or tv. I have the older games I'd want to play and I could always play them on the tv via supergameboy for snes if I was close to a tv. Using two seperate gameboys is just.. inconvenient. When something is upgraded, shouldn't it replace the older? I curse Nintendo for this

Rabidwolf, an emulator is a program that will run programs of one system on a different system. In this case Gokussj meant that he has a GB emulator on the DS.

Ooh, an emulator on the DS to play GB(C) games eh? Yeah, that's nice too. I guess you have a Flash card and everything then? Do the games run smooth? Good ROM support?

I assumed he meant like an emulator you use on the computer. But on the DS? That's really cool I didn't know that existed.

Sorry Gokku I have to disagree with you on some points. For one I have a red DS Light and the gb games work fine in it if you put it into the gba slot, unlike in the original DS witch the gba game did not even stay in the slot. Also I like pokemon games and Im not afraid to say so. Yes I think the tv show and card game suck, But still the games still seem to entertain me.

PS ls dont give me a hard time on my spelling and grammer I hate it when People do that. Most people have problems in one area or another every one is not perfect and I just don't grasp the consepts of spelling and grammer well enough even though in 15.

Well, why not? You also have GBA, PSX, NES emulators for the PSP; the same stuff for other consoles etcetera. Emulation lives anywhere nowadays.

So basically, you hate that you could get better at English? That's certainly the right attitude. The ONLY way you'll know if you're doing something wrong is when people correct you. Cause you surely won't correct yourself, not knowing what it is that you're doing wrong.

Phoenix im not saying it in that sort of a way. I don't mind constructive critisizm but just critisizing to be mean, is just wrong. Almost 80% of the time that some one critisizes me it isn't to help me with my english. Their is a very fine line between consructive critisizm and just being rude.

Mod- And I'm not saying what you said was being rude.

Is this a sore spot for you? I thought I was a grammar pedant! Mind you, I agree with you whole-heartedly, it's hard to know if you got something wrong if no one bothers to correct you. I'm always amazed at how people (particularly from European countries) seem to make a much better attempt at english than english-speakers do with other languages... (well that was a convoluted, pain-in-the-arse sentence)... 'though then I'm just told that english is easier... anyhow.

No, the sinä IS unnecessary, because of the way the Finnish language inflects its verbs.

Speaking of Finnish, someone really should port the Dink engine to the DS (can't be that hard).
