I'm back
I was gone for a week, for the National Math Olympiad, as I probably told you. It was fine, I took a silver medal(I was the 21th/92). I'll post the questions later, after I'll translate them(I'm pretty tired after a 13 hours journey by train). They were quite hard, I only took 8.5/28, but it was just as hard as the last years.
Any news on DN last week? I'm too lazy to read all the posts.

13 hours? And to think I hated a 12 hour train trip from wellington to aukland when I was a kid. It's nothing compared to your, though.

Awesome Cypry. You earned it.

Draconic, how popular is cricket there? I like the New Zealand team very much.

That's really cool. Way to go Judging by the photos you had a nice time. Which museum was the place with those skeleton thingies? Looked neat.

It was a natural siences museum. It was pretty cool.
The US olympiad is online, so students take it at their own schools and just fax in their answers.
You're talking about pic2? Yes, my favorite team is Steaua Bucharest. And they're gonna win the UEFA cup. Right?
Indeed they are. Wellington is our political capital and Auckland is our largest city (in terms of size and population). You could also say that Auckland is the economic capital of NZ. It's also the fourth biggest city in the world if you include the Greater Auckland Area, which covers almost a quater of NZ, or eigth if you only include the Auckland Region. Not bad for such a small country, hah?
Cricket is popular, but it's not exactly high on our list. First comes rugby, then rugby league, then soccer. Cricket comes in at a distant fourth or fiveth.
As for the NZ team, the Black Caps... they seem to be on and off. The are on when it comes to ODIs, but off when it comes to the harder form of the game, Test matches. They certainly aren't doing that well against South Africa at the moment.
At first I was wondering where you came from, since you mentioned cricket, which isn't much of a common topic here, but then I looked in your profile and I saw that you came from India, which explained it. To quote my Indian flatmate: "Cricket is as big in India as rugby is here in New Zealand." And rugby is huge here. In fact NZers almost seem to think our international team, the All Blacks, have a God-given right to win every competition and game they take part in.

They are crazy about cricket here in India but should pay attention to other sports as well. It just won a silver medal in the olypics which is a very very poor performance.I saw some rugby 7's matches of New Zealand at the Common Wealth games some time back. The really do play well.
The NZ team did well in the home series vs. West Indies. I really like Shane Bond who in my opinion is the best fast bowler in thw world.
