Re: Upcoming D-Mods: Ancient Legacy
Oh man, I can't wait for this to come out. I was just looking at it again, and suddenly I felt the urge to massivly work on my D-Mod again.
I know you are working on Dink 1.08 and finishing the DinkC Reference at the moment, and I also know you don't like to name release dates, but dear Dan, when will this pentilogy at least be updated? I'm guessing Fiat 1.0 is nearly finished, and Paragon won't take a super duper long time now.
I'm also guessing Hidthspace Revolution will never be released, but oh well.
Keep us informed!

Hmm... I actually thought redink1 said he was going to finish the Ancient Legacy, including Hidthspace Revolution (even if he needed to turn it into a really short dmod), before leaving...
Then again, I might be wrong.

Leaving where?
Leaving where?
Around a year ago, redink1 declared that he'd finish his business around here (Generation 9 and maybe a few D-Mods), and would then pass The Dink Network over to me. He then planned to have a much smaller role in the community while placing much more focus on real-world issues.
It doesn't look like that's happening anytime soon, not that I have any issues with it.
Edit: Actually, it's been a little longer than I thought... the original announcement was made in August '04, and a small status update was made available in January '05.

You're right... I don't like to name release dates. I'll leave it at that
Oh, and one little thing... I renamed the trilogy-thing again with the release of Initiation. It's Cast Awakening, not Ancient Legacy.

So Hithspace and Paragon are stand-alone games? Do the 5 titles still link to eachother?
Sort of... it'll go like this:
Cast Awakening Part 1: Initiation
Cast Awakening Part 2: Paragon
Cast Awakening Part 3: Fiat
Cast Awakening Part 4: End of Time
Cast Awakening Part 5: Revolution
Cast Awakening Part 1: Initiation
Cast Awakening Part 2: Paragon

Cast Awakening Part 5: Revolution
Oh, alright. I misinterpreted your post, I thought you brought the series back to a trilogy.
So will the actual names of the files be changed from Dinky Dimensions to Cast awakening?
The actual D-Mods will be re-released.
