Hey, not really that I'm stuck or anything, but in the end, I get the 2options to stand my ground or to run away... But if I choose either one of them it says I should get a better ending next time. Howcome? Cause I tried twice but both said that. Is there another ending?

You get the "good" ending if you complete the Temple of the Ancients before defeating the final boss.

Defeat the temple of ancients??Are you all crazy??And is it just me that finds the bad guys are hard to beat,it's cuz I'm old isn't it?Slow reflexes...

Well I just finished the game and I have some question...

1-How can I get pass the castle... to get the item for the guy in the bar?
2-How can I find the 2nd half map to go to the ancient temple?
(I got one from the cannibale quest!)
3-Is there a real end boss... I mean after ScarabMan...
4-Is there a point to the crystal that you get from the start?
5-Can you break the weak pole (the one shaib talking about?

That all! I really enjoyed the game... it was really funny (stupid sclub7 hehe) ,the water golem was one of the coolest monster ever and the battle final fantasy like was very funny

I dint really enjoyed the ending, but sinse I got the bad one it not very accurate.

Well, I kinda prefer the bad endings... but maybe you'll like the good ones better, who knows?

1) Have you tried attacking the damaged wall? With different weapons?
2)The second and third pieces are all beyond the castle.
3)The scarab man is the real end boss. There is another big boss at the end of the TOA...
4)That's just a Cloud Castle injoke. It was going to be more relevant to the second level of the TOA, but it isn't, so nevermind.
5)Not in play.

Temple of the Ancients, huh? Such an unoriginal name. The first thing that comes to my mind when I hear that is Final Fantasy VII...

For the temple of ancient thingy... maybe they just took the first thing they have in mind (they were playing ff7 or something) and it not that bad for a name... well it better than 'The big place with strong monster with a big evil guy at the end'

I got a piece of scroll from that lady over at the oasis,I never did see anymore pieces.
Course I didn't need it to get an ending..but still!

I forgot that FFVII had a temple of the ancients - then again, it's hardly the only thing I've played/watched/read that does. Er, hang on, that doesn't counter the "unoriginal" argument, does it? Whoops.

My best defense is that it is pretty representative of what lies within the temple, and given the different connotations of "ancient" when associated with Dink (i.e Seth), I never really felt like I was copying anything else. Well, my best defense is that I couldn't give a rat's ass so STFU, but, y'know.

The bad endings are by far the best. Very amusing. Oh hadeehadeehaa.

I've just finished playing this great D-Mod but still have two more comments/questions left:

1. Unfortunately, I only got the two bad endings after beating the Scarab Man. Then I discovered that the "Temple of the Ancients" is required for the good ending. Is this subquest located inside the castle? And until what point of time within the game plot do I get inside? Right now, my earliest saving is after freeing Chiltmor and at that point getting into the castle is definitely no longer possible.
2. What exactly is the "Boss Mode" and how do I activate it? Is it only relevant for the "Temple of the Ancients" or the whole D-Mod?

You can unlock the boss mode if you get at least one good ending.

To get into the temple of the ancients, you'll have to find the 3 scroll pieces. The entrance to the temple is in "Stonehenge". ( I think you can enter the temple without the scroll if you have the light sword, though I'm not sure).
