I was going to post some, long rantish replies to a few posts, but I decided to address one short post to everyone:

If you're truly losing sleep or getting angry because you think Joe Blow is acting like a 56 year old dog with a learning disability on the board, you have some serious issues. Just ignore them and get on with your life. If they truly are acting like a 56 year old dog with a learning disability, then chances are they'll figure it out in due time, and you'll see them become a more likeable person. Heck, dinkmega, Tal and myself were both seen as annoying newbies by a few people, and now they're (usually) quite cool folks. And if they remain learning disabled dogs for all eternity, it is not your concern.

Spend your time watching TV or poking yourself in the eye with a dull fork instead of posting angry replies, please.

I react in quite an infantile manner sometimes, and for that I'm sorry. Redink, of course, speaks words of great wisdom here.

If somebody winds you up on the net, what can you do about it? Really? Call them names? Make a cruel innuendo about the size of their Magic Wand?

You can do nothing. So ignore them.

I'll stop posting sly little digs at people as well. It's just plain mean.

The problem with communicating on the board or email even,is that we cannot see the expression on a persons face or hear the tone of their voice or even watch their body language.Thats why misunderstandings will always happen and,as vault dweller told me,don't take any of it too seriously,eh(I added the'eh'part

People just have to watch what they say until they become respected. To become respected you have to... I'm not sure exactly. Am I respected yet?

An Apology to All

To all that I've bothered lately with my snide remarks, I am sorry. I will say that there are a few of you who could be more considerate for others, but attempting to resolve a stupid, condescending, or inconsiderate comment with yet another stupid, condescending, or inconsiderate comment resolves absolutely nothing... and I have succeeded in resolving nothing. That's not quite a success I pride myself with though. Certain recent events of unpleasantry (such as returning to school, and my significant other's misfortune) have led me to insert my head quite a ways into my rectum, and I shall attempt to remove it.

Seriously, with a few exceptions I dont think anyone has really tried to hurt anyone's feelings. Were all friends here. Dont feel bad Tal...everyone knows your nice and I just thought you were testing the waters as an administrator when you acted like that...and you have to sometimes.

Tal, I certainly can't blame you for the recent cattiness which redink is she doging about, but you did kinda start it. Sabre and I, to be fair, bear as much responsibilty.

But I fear that the trend started by your fudgeing honesty won't be so easily reversed. Basically, the problem is not the "snide remarks", which are hard to take seriously, but the well thought out ones, such as what you've said about scratcher and VD. Similarly, some of us (me) have been taking these remarks too seriously, which gives them more weight than they should have.

Thus from now on, if someone pisses me off, I'll not hold my tongue, but instead say something lighthearted about their moms.
