I was just wondering if you guys have got better humor since you joined DN, my HUMOR HAVE GOT A LOT BETTER (My english too ) Now I am able to tell a good joke And how is it you guys are best to say funny jokes, is it when you are sitting long thinking how the joke shall be? Or are you doing like me: JUST LET YOUR MOUTH RUN OPEN

No. You can't learn humour. I would say my sense of humour hasn't changed in the slightest since I have joined the DN, and if it has, it's due to my getting older.

And no, the best jokesters on the network don't sit there and think of a joke, refining it in their mind until they deem it good enough to post. It's something spontaneous, called wit.

And that is most certainly not the same as letting your mouth run open.

I don't know if people's humor changed so much as they got comfortable telling humor or certain kinds of humor, like the banana or Tal jokes.

This post sounds quite harsh, doesn't it? But you can't proclaim yourself as being funny; You just look like a muppet. And not one of the cool ones either...

The only thing funny about JediSecret, Glenn, and Kory is that it would be funny to put 'em in a box and watch em fight! Other than that listening to them try to talk is equally amusing. (no offense intended)

Milo makes a great point. Just look at the older members ability to poke fun at each other with each post. (see above Tal, Safmoor, Merlin, etc.)

Now if only I could think of something funny to say...

Why did Kory come to the DN? Ask him...he'll engage you in a half-hour long match of verbal jousting at the end of which you'll have won and boosted your self esteem. Isnt that what we all want?

Thats a nice poem and it alludes to conflict, but I dont think it has much to do with what goes on here. It doesnt mention what to do if the world is a message board with an annoying fellow running around with something to prove.
