No. You can't learn humour. I would say my sense of humour hasn't changed in the slightest since I have joined the DN, and if it has, it's due to my getting older.
And no, the best jokesters on the network don't sit there and think of a joke, refining it in their mind until they deem it good enough to post. It's something spontaneous, called wit.
And that is most certainly not the same as letting your mouth run open.
