i read it
Bah, I've read that site about 12 times already. And it's still half-bullshoot.
suicide...a permanent solution to a temporary problem. welll, if you needed it, i hope you're feeling better now.
Merlin. why read it 12 times?
hmm. dunno, but have you ever tried to do suicide or something? since you have read it 12 times
Suicide is for quitters. I think it's one of the most selfish acts that anybody can commit.
Just my opinion, mind.

So sabre. if i say somthing else then what you mean. that will be wrong right? i read you profile
Exactly. Unless I choose to be wrong, I am always correct. Twah.
yea rustedsorrows we need to hear your problems and maybe u wont take a suicide. But how are you going to ask for help if you are dead ?
it able just cut your wrists a little so people see that somethingis wrong with you...but ii'm glad that i don't need that anymore
You should see my left fore arm One day in school, one of my buddies showed me a scar she had made with a fingernail out of boredom when she was in the detention. "Inspired" by that (god I'm stupid) I made a two similar scratches in my forearm with a guitar pick. That was nearly 6 months ago, but I still have 5 cm long scars on my arm. I have the feeling that those will stay there for the rest of my life. Advice: Don't do that. It hurts like hell when you get all sweaty and when the wound is still fresh... Ouch
Merlin: You're not the only one. I like scars too. dang I'm lucky, my mom hasn't noticed them yet. And probably won't.
The pick I used was Dunlop Green Tortex. The best pick there is. Interesting, eh?

the one that fell under the bed was dunlop.white....
when my mom saw my scar (only 5 of hem, there were lots of more) i got "grounded"

For how long were you grounded???
Why is the pick so special? Autograph? Kirk Hammett? Steve Vai?
EDIT: Whooooopsie, posted twice by accident.

Well, is anybody even feeling suicidal right now? Well, I hope not
suicide is for people who have no reason to live. some people think they have no hope, thats not true, SUICIDE IS AN ACT OF HOPE. you might think this is an outrageous statement, why then would someone do it? in hope that something would get better! the reason for suicide is that they dont have hope in life. find a reason to life, then you will get better. believe in something. faith is what keeps us alive.
this has been another addition of joshriot soup for the soul chronicles.

Ah, another rare profound statement from joshriot. Suicide actually takes a fair amount of guts to actually go through with. There's no turning back once you're dead.
Thats what I think. The only people who can commit suicide are those who either do so without pain in a quick way (like with a firearm) or if they have such intense emotions that they can physically force themselves in spite of the most powerful thing preventing you from killing yourself...the "survival instinct". You know the joy you feel in sex? The burning hunger to eat something? The hot rage of physically defending yourself? Those are all instincts that EVERY human being is born with. Essentially they tell us to live and reproduce like all the rest of the creatures on this bright, blue world. Anyone that can override those protocols must have a good reason to kill themselves. For example, have you ever tried to prick yourself? Its nearly impossible. Your hand alone pulls back and wont let you!
Oh ya and Im sure God wouldnt want you dead either or your guardian Angel.

/me sees religious comment

Well, I don't care what God thinks. I don't worship him, so, well, for lack of a better phrase, he can go to hell.

Seems like most of us are anti-religion here, lol
That kind of sucks. I'm not. In fact, I think religion is good for the most part. I just strayed away from my religion because some of my family has an almost fundamentalist stance on issues. They think RPG's are satanic. They stopped buying their daughter things with rainbows on them. They believe in "teaching christian values" at school, ie. studying the religion and being taught the ten comandments.

oh no, that's terrible! What a silly idea it is to teach christians the basics of christianity....

I think Scrather meant public schools.
I'm not surprised if someone strays away from his/her religion just because in he/she is stuffed completely full of it in elementary school. "Learn this learn that, you must remember the ten commandments and remember the old and new testaments backwards bla bla you must learn names of all the people in the Bible bla bla"

Have you strayed away from christianity since they teach that in schools here in Finland? Seriously, 45 minutes of studying christianity (or rather lying on your desk and trying to sleep) per week is not that much.
Not dunno about you, but I am (or was) full of it. And it varies from school to school, our teacher was a fundamentalist hippie. Well, not exactly hippie but you get the idea
Well, if they teach you nothing useful there then 45 minutes in indeed a long time.... (and half of the things they teach to you in school are things you'll never need in the future or then you already know them anyway)
I skipped half of those religion classes on the 9th grade though. (and almost 1/3 of the whole wide 9th class)
And now for the point of my post: hmm....... it seems as if it is just that I like writing. *sigh*

Do you have to take those classes even if you aren't a christian, or do non-christians fill such a small minority that it doesn't matter?
I was about to ask what Drake asked.
Ya and what if you belonged to the first European Christian church...the Catholics. Do they differentiate between Catholics and Protestant, cause they are VERY different?

There's no differentiation between any of the Christians at school. And besides, something like 95% of the people here in Finland are evangelical lutherans. Did I get it right?
But islam and all those other religions have separate religion classes.

No offense to you Finnish people, but do you feel like most Amercians that religion is something to be done on a strictly personal basis? I mean most Americans arent religious, but as one who is I feel its best for peace and harmony if people discover meaning themselves...its just so much deeper and more personal that way.
