For those of you with me in your address book, search for 'jammer2nd.exe' on your system. Its just a trojan spreading for a denial of service attack on someone. Nothing serious to the carrier, and zonealarm stops it from spreading.
Here is info.

No, My zonealarm stopped it from spreading from me, but someone with my address in his book sent it to me.
The email could have any number of names, but jammer2nd is the .exe name after its opened and installed in the windows folder, thats why you might need to use search to find it.
It looks like it came from frekewilly@yahoo.com . sound familiar anyone?

It hasn't to come from the person in the from-line...

No, but that address will also be in the same book as my address. It may not even be someone on this net, I'll just tell everyone that is likely.

Well, that virus doesn't exactly do anything to your computer aside from setting up its own SMTP server and changing all of your outgoing email. And I also am amused by the fact that it only affects Outlook and Outlook Express.

Ya, I'm starting to see the advantage to non-microsoft stuff. Viruse makers assume most people use outlook and windows. If I used Linux and web-mail, I may not even need a viruscanner.

Mac rules. and those apples are *so* cute.

EDIT: Not that I didn't fancy Linux's penquin...

Mac sucks.

And I'm not sure they even make virus scanners that are even somewhat useful for linux.

Apple computers are stupid for ignoring the standard, yet I would sell my left ball for a G5.(Heck, I have 3 kids, take em both....)
I read somewhere Apple may go pc compatible soon. Hm....

Maybe because the penguin looks so dorky and the duck suits him better.

Or maybe because there aren't any penguin user icons.
