Hello, dudes, and dudettes. I'm going to be your new North American chat host. Yep, that's me. Aren't you all so very happily excited? Oh, you're not? Well too bad! Heh...anyway, this upcoming Saturday at 18 GMT, I'm hosting my very first Dink Smallwood chat on IRC. If you're still having trouble connecting to IRC or the Java chat, then contact one of us cool people like me or Phoenix or Allikitten and we'll get you help or something. I'll be posting a notice approximately one hour before the chat actually starts so that people with the time all screwed up with the daylight savings crap can know when to join that chat as well. Which is wrong, because of Daylight Savings Time. The best thing to do is configure the board to your current time, check the events for the time it should be at, and then check the board one hour before you think the chat is. If there's no announcement, then the chat is probably an hour later; if there's an announcement an hour old, then the chat is starting immediately; and if there's a fresh announcement, it's in an hour.

Here in Arizona, there is No Such Thing [TM] as Daylight Savings Time. Now, we're the same as California, which means that DST is off right now. So, That means that the chat is the exact time posted. I figure that to the best of my abilities...
