'Mature' D-Mods?
As part of the DinkHD in-game D-Mod browser, we're probably going to add the ability to filter D-Mods that are 'Mature' in content. Primarily nudity (thanks SimonK), perhaps other 'mature' content.
Here are the D-Mods I'm thinking of adding this designation to, but does anyone know of any others?
Isle of Croth
Progeny
Stone of Balance
(Maybe Creeping Sands / Pilgrim's Quest, I don't remember what those contain).

I'm think Rand's Quest for the Axe is like almost entirely profanity, if that counts. Not sure if Gokus other mods are the same, but it should probably be filtered under mature simply for language use.
Also, I'm pretty sure pilgrims quest had a nude female goblin sprite. It may have just been a topless female goblin sprite though. But I believe there's a whore house, unless I'm mistaking that for stone of balance.

not only is censorship bad as is sheltering from "bad words" and other shit, this is a community for a game about a dude who goes around hitting on women, murdering people, punching heads off ducks, flirting with his own aunt, and generally making a mess of enemies with sharp objects and explosions.
there's also a domestic abuse situation. and now all of the sudden, we're wanting a filter option? and yes, we've had a filter for words on here for a long time. it's dumb too.

I have tried every dmod possible that said adult content and none of them even come close to whats on steam these days, not at all mature by today's standard .
No need to separate them all those dmods have enough warning in them already.

Pilgrims Quest had a brothel, and should probably be flagged too.
And chill out skurn, allowing a user who doesn't want to see sexual content should be able to filter it out, that doesn't take anything away from you or your ability to enjoy those games.

oh no! better protect the kids that don't come here and if they did it's not our fault and the parents and kids and people trying to avoid conflict should stop being babies and teach kids instead of hide them!

It would be more expedient to simply put a coverall notice at the top that specifies that "Some 3rd Party mods may have content that may be unsuitable for minors or that may be offensive" rather than comb through each and every Dink mod to see if it breaches some sort of standard of taste.
It doesnt even have to be kids, Skurn. Just because we're mature it doesnt mean we like looking at porn all day.
If DinkHD were a PC-only thing, we wouldn't bother with this.
The concern is mobile phone app stores, where Seth might need to provide an option to exclude things like nudity, so the app doesn't get banned.

Skurn, some of us like to take our hands of our dicks long enough to turn on mature filters from time to time so we can look at things that don't include mature or adult content.
Clear ratings are good for games and let players/parents know what to expect.
Hmm, just "mature" isn't a very useful tag though, I wonder if DMOD authors have been correctly entering it in the dmod.diz files? (There are two #s dealing with mature ratings there) - maybe those could be pulled into the database somehow? I'm just not sure exactly how "mature" a DMOD exists, if they go considerably farther than the app store rating for the original game or what.
