Thanks for the heads up. I was planning on buying Civ 5, but because of your baseless accusation of it being trash I now know better. I wish there were more people as helpful as you on the Internet.
You gotta trust me on this.
I want to save gaming.
I want to save gaming.
How about you save gaming journalism instead. It'll help inform people about games in a 100% honest way... just put some effort into your articles as well to gain some credibility and maybe it'll lead people into not supporting piss poor AAA developers.
...and avoid selling out or working for any mainstream "journalism" sites like IGN, otherwise your articles will be removed and you'll be fired for saying a game they're advertising isn't perfect.

Or worse yet, actually telling people anything about the game that they might actually want to know before they buy it. *shudders*
I kind of want Punisher to start a blog. I would read it.
As would I. That shit would be way too good to pass up.
Come on, Predisher. This is your chance!
And you can call it "Punisher and Friends' Master Race Blog" and have a picture of you joined with Batista, Tom Six, John Cena, me and Dink Doodler.

Heh, if you are really curious and you have Steam... Civilization 5 can be downloaded and played for free until Thursday. You can make up your mind for yourself, I would trust that more than a one sentence review.
Now that's consumer advice.

If you have fast enough internet and a high enough bandwith I suggest you get from Piratebay.
Send them a message DRM only increases piracy.
The reasons why I like CD projekt RED is becasue they are anti-DRM.
Where Valve,Ubisoft and EA............. ESPCIALLY! EA are pro DRM.
DOWN WITH DRM
UP WITH CONSUMER FREEDOM

I still haven't been screwed over by Valve except for their lousy pricing of the Saints Row 3 stuff. Vanilla game is 14.99. Game with all the DLC is 19.99. DLC separate is much more. >_>
Well then get it from pirate bay.
What, the DLC? I don't think that's going to work.
Civ5 is amaze-balls! Just it's a huge time-waster... takes a good 5 hours per campaign... on a small map!
Funny, EA made a better thing with "Free for a limited time" stuff. Mainly the timer will go down only when you play the game, once you stop, the timer stops as well. It's great when you have a bad connection speed. That is something that Valve MUST learn from it. Some Steam users hate the fact that, once it's for a limited day, they won't make it.
EDIT: As for that sentence that Punny said. I take it that you pretty much hate anything, without even thinking about some good things.

I don't think I've ever bothered with free weekend stuff. I don't like how it creeps into my library and clutters it with what are pretty much ads. I should probably sort them all into categories again to avoid it, but I am not doing that manually again.
