How to stay cool during summer ?
I'm trying "wait for the heat to pass". It's not really working well yet, but I probably just have to try harder. I'm sure it will work at some point. 
Take off all your clothes, lay spread-eagled on the floor or ground... Doze off until sunset.
The blaster is a viable option, but ice bath seems to be the definitive answer for now.
Move to Finland. It's been a rather chilling summer here. Days are decently warm with 20°C and nights are cold as hell.

Well, every night my dad turns on the massive fan in the living room, opens up a few key windows in the house and lets the cool air flow in. When he inevitably wakes up in the early-early morning, he shuts it off, kicks me off computer, and eventually goes to bed after I fall asleep.
During the day, the house remains cool as long as the windows and doors remain closed (except for occasional entering and leaving.)

My room, I've noticed, never really gets too cool.
I mean, I don't want to say it's hot, but two random hobbits came in the other day and threw a ring in there.
