Pillbug's made a new dev file for use in D-Mods (Diablo-Mods) : A Town Portal!

Just wave your arms about and with a quick burst of fire you (brave adventurer) are never more than thirty seconds away from the inn.

Finally got around to checking this one out. It's a good idea, but it needs some work.

I was able to cast it at the edge of the screen and then walk off screen which interrupted the warping. You should probably freeze Dink for this. It's also possible to die mid warp.

If you cast a portal and then don't warp back to the same place, you can't cast another one. Why not? Sometimes
you want to go back to town and then to somewhere else. It would be better if you could make a new portal one that closes the old one.

I don't think it should be a projectile. It's possible to make an unreachable portal or get warped onto hardness. I was able to set up a tp on the cliffs and upon returning I could walk on the cliffs. I also got stuck on a table warping back.

I had a thought that you could use the bow charging mechanic to charge up a portal and then recall yourself back to town instantly. That would leave the portal and warping location in a safe spot. You could also just make the portal at Dink's feet and use the button_off() function so that it doesn't warp you until you step off of it and touch it again.
