Beuc's still working hard on FreeDink and has released a lot of updates for it:
FreeDink itself has had a couple of bugfixes and 9 (!) new translations, DFArc 3 has 5 new translations and the source code for both has of course also been updated.
Speaking of source code, the game data code for FreeDink is also available now.
Oops, I missed something! Here's the "free as in freedom" version of the original Dink game, meant to be distributed as part of FreeDink.
In particular:
- the graphics and story are under the free zlib license
- most of the sounds and music were not owned by RTsoft and are being replaced
This means that the game respects the principles of Free Software and can be safely included in GNU/Linux and *BSD distributions.
